Wilhelmina Helena: photography/styling/creative direction
Helena Vegter is a Dutch photographer & artist. She is focused on fashion, glamour and art.
She made the series ‘Clothing from different cultures‘ (2017) and ‘My freedom, Islam‘ (2019) which were exhibited in the Eusebius church Arnhem and Q-Factory Amsterdam. In 2022 Helena Vegter made a series for the exhibition ‘200 years of fashion history’, which was on display at the Veenkoloniaal Museum.
In 2013, Helena won the 1st prize at Kunstbende Groningen together with her brother, Rik Vegter. She has performed original songs and covers at multiple stages, such as Melkweg Amsterdam and Noorderzon theaterfestival Groningen.
In 2022, Helena teamed up with producer and songwriter Michel Wijninga to create her song ‘Glamour, Freedom, Love’, which is about feeling confident and not being afraid to stand out. The song was released on Spotify on the 18th of March 2022, and can be found under her artist profile ‘Miss Helena’. The song reached number #5 at the Noord top 9. She is currently working on writing new music.
